Welcome to Tanishi Naik!

We’d like to welcome Tanishi Naik to the Diversity in Sustainability team!

Tanishi will be helping us as we begin our Inclusion Blueprint Dialogues this year with her skills conducting research and organizing events. She is based out of Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, and is currently double majoring in English and Legal Studies at the University of Waterloo. Although starting her undergraduate degree in university during the pandemic, she’s enjoyed staying active and exploring various interests by holding leadership positions in sustainability, law-based, and tech clubs. Through a found interest in sustainability’s intersection with the Canadian justice system, she hopes to study law after graduating. In her free time, she particularly enjoys volunteering as an English teacher for her local library and finding places to enjoy a cup of coffee.

We also would like to acknowledge Nature Canada’s Work-to-Grow program for partial funding of Tanishi’s internship with us.

Tanishi can be reached at intern@diversityinsustainability.com.

Welcome, Tanishi!
