Preparing Future Generations Livestreams


To celebrate the launch of our Preparing Future Generations report, we’ll be hosting one bite-sized livestream a day, in a Q&A with some of the folks featured/covered in the report.

 

Meilin Chan (Mar 11, 8:30-8:50AM PT/11:30-11:50ET/3:30-3:50PM GMT) – Meilin Chan recently started as Environmental Sustainability Analyst at the Walt Disney Company, and is a graduate of Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment, and will give her tips in accessing the sustainability space!

Ibrahim Yusuf (Mar 12, 9-9:20AM PT/12-12:20PM ET/4-4:30PM GMT) – Ibrahim Yusuf, Sustainability Apprentice at 3keel, gives his tips entering the field of sustainability without a bachelor and master’s degree! Prepare to be inspired!

Linnet Kocheril (Mar 13, 9-9:20AM PT/12-12:20PM ET/4-4:30PM GMT) – Linnet is the Placement & Employer Relations Manager for the MScSM program at University of Toronto Mississauga and someone who has helped place hundreds of graduate students in sustainability roles. Get a behind the scenes glimpse into his recommendations.

Janna Wale (Mar 14, 9-9:20AM PT/12-12:20PM ET/4-4:30PM GMT) – Janna Wale, Policy Advisor, Indigenous Research at Canadian Climate Institute, Gitxsan from Gitanmaax First Nation and Cree-Métis on her mother’s side, translates traditional and Western ways of thinking into her research and will provide her advice for forging your own path in sustainability as a young Indigenous woman.
